System
PowerPack
21 kW peak brushless outrunner delivering 165 lbs of thrust with a fast, linear throttle response. A field-oriented control (FOC) ESC drives the motor at peak efficiency, and a fully digital CAN bus links the throttle, ESC, and battery BMS so every system talks to every other. Near silent in the air. No warm up, no pull start. Just instant, silent power.

System
Battery
Custom battery packs with a built in Bluetooth BMS and top tier lithium ion cells. Swap packs in under 60 seconds for back to back flights.

System
Frame & Weight
Aircraft grade aluminum engineered for strength per pound. 6061-T6 main frame and 7075 gooseneck bars — 7075 is roughly 65% stronger than the grade 2 titanium most "titanium frame" competitors actually use. Titanium cage with Dyneema netting (about 2× stronger than Kevlar by weight). Tool free assembly in 5 minutes, breaks down compact enough to fit in the trunk of most cars.
Electronics
Electronics and software
Every electronic system on the SP140 runs firmware that's open source on GitHub. The throttle controller, battery BMS, and motor controller all speak CAN bus and can be monitored from your phone over Bluetooth. Flash updates over USB-C or the OpenPPG phone app. Customize throttle curves, power modes, and display preferences at config.openppg.com with no coding required. If something ever goes wrong, the schematics are public.

Accessories and spare parts
Batteries, propellers, chargers, and replacement parts compatible with this paramotor.
Same frame. Either power.
Need more range? The SP140 frame is also designed from the ground up to take a gas engine.
Custom 16 L tank, Atom 80 or Vittorazi Moster 185. The hybrid frame is built from day one to take either powertrain — start electric, add gas later, or run both on one frame.

What owners say
“The SP140 Electric changed everything for me. No more mixing fuel, no more ear-splitting noise. I just grab it, click the battery in, and fly. My neighbors actually wave at me now instead of complaining.”
Mike R.
Colorado, USA
“I was skeptical about electric, but 165 lbs of thrust is no joke. Launches are effortless and the silence in the air is unreal. You can actually hear the wind in your wing. It's a completely different experience.”
Sarah K.
British Columbia, Canada
“Been flying gas for 8 years and switched to the SP140 Electric. The lack of vibration alone is worth it. After a 2-hour session of touch-and-goes, my arms aren't numb. The cruise control is a game changer for XC.”
James T.
Florida, USA
